There’s fun for everyone at this popular annual festival as it offers an array of running events from full and half marathons, team relays to junior races for under 18’s.
- Registration fee: Varies depending on distance, fees range from £15.50 – £151.25
- Distance: Marathon 26.2 miles | Half marathon 13.1 miles | Team Relay 26.2 miles | 10K | 5K | Junior 5K | Junior 2K | Junior 1.5K | Kids Kilometre
- Minimum sponsorship: there is no target, just raise what you can. Every penny will help make a difference to the children and young people we support.
Winston’s Wish and Child Bereavement UK are merging to strengthen the support available for bereaved children, young people, parents and families across the UK. In the coming weeks, Winston’s Wish will change its name to Child Bereavement UK. By taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival you will still be raising money to support grieving children, young people and families, but the charity you will be fundraising for will be called Child Bereavement UK.
