Tick Mount Kilimanjaro off the bucket list and raise vital funds for Winston’s Wish!
Mount Kilimanjaro is a ‘bucket list’ event for many and one of the most impressive charity events on offer.
Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.
This 11 day trek follows the beautiful Machame Route, designed to allow for gradual acclimatisation to the altitude. The route will take you through dense tropical rainforest, moorland and scree until you reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point. On reaching the summit you will feel a sense of overwhelming achievement – a truly unforgettable challenge!

Winston’s Wish and Child Bereavement UK are merging to strengthen the support available for bereaved children, young people, parents and families across the UK. In the coming weeks, Winston’s Wish will change its name to Child Bereavement UK. By taking on the Mount Kilimanjaro Trek you will still be raising money to support grieving children, young people and families, but the charity you will be fundraising for will be called Child Bereavement UK.
